Occupy Oakland holding it down with the Officer Pike meme!

What a great bunch of people to hang out with!

Truly, most of the people I've encountered at the marches and assemblies are kind, smart, friendly as heck, and ready to have a good time while making real human progress.

Check out a cadre of Code Pink activists smiling in front of a line of riot-gear-wearing police officers.  One of these sisters put a sticker on my back that read, "Make Out--Not War!"  I hope she stuck some on some police officers, too!

Lots of West Coast ports shut down on Dec. 12, and because of police violence in other cities, Occupy Oakland continued to blockade key gates at the Port, and Oakland's port will remain shut down into Dec. 13.
